I have two items that I need help with. I have looked in the dominant websites but to no avail. I cannot figure these out. Please help?

What I'm looking for is help translating. Thank you for replying. I should of specified I needed help in translating. I apologize. I know this is white jade. I work in coins, gold and gems field. This came to me on a gold necklace from a client. I'm miserable in the translation part. If you can help I would appreciate it.

My wife who is chinese (Taiwan) says the both items are Japanese in origin.

May I suggest changing your title to target the correct asian source? Bound to be some readers with Japanese spouses. I can't tell the difference in the characters either since I cannot read either.

Yes Japanese on the plate. I think the blue & white porcelain is a Seto Dai Nippon mark and dates to the Meiji period or late 1800's to early 1900's.
