I have no idea but there is a thread here something like "Have a rock you need identified?". There are several helpful people there that I bet can id. it. Adding where found could be helpful. Good luck.

So you've seen them? they are very smooth.. and green... are they common?

Not much to look at, best guess is altered, river tumbled diabase. But don't take that as a fact. If it is diabase, it is a common rock more or less depending on your location.
