That's a cool looking heater. Does it still work?

I don't know a value. Not sure I would use one to heat with, myself. Obviously with it sitting on cotton towels they weren't.

I see listings currently on ebaY for $70 . . . but listings are not the same as actually sold. $30 seems a good price even as a display piece.

And Hindu (but the Boy Scouts?). Easiest way to connect nine points. It's a pretty common "Good Luck" symbol for centuries and longer.
