Maybe a pulley for a well bucket???d2

the top one is a clothes line pulley 1940 to 1950 or so
the bottom one is a used to tighten the clothes line same time frame

Due to the size and weight of the piece, I don't think it could be a clothes line pulley. My vote is either a barn pulley for lifting bales or some sort of pulley on a harvesting device from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Here is a photo of a barn pulley:

And if it's really eating at you (not knowing what it is), you could contact Doug de Shazer’s Lewis & Clark Pulley Museum in Crofton, Nebraska. :)

Second one is a type of gag loop for horse tack. Didn't change much from 1900-modern
