I found this in my backyard. It's almost a salmon colored rock with purple crystals in it. What is it and is it cool enough to save? If its not special than I'm not attached to it. Thank you.

Maybe fluorite.
I collected some in Kentucky last year.
Is it cubed?
What state are you in?
Some are actually fluorescent under ultraviolet light.
Very cool!!

I have been finding that same color of rock in a creek I hunt. It flakes pretty easy and I think it is a type of Shale. I will be looking for crystals for now on.
I can't break it with my hands, but it gives me the vibe it's "shale like"
So what you are telling us is that you are NOT Superman?
Can't wait until someone figures that out, very cool. Post more pics if you can.
