Can anybody tell me what make, what year, & what this trunk is worth

I believe it's a dome top antique trunk. They date from 1890. The round top is meant to shed water and dust when using them for travel. Here is a similar, restored trunk that sold for just under $1800. In the current condition, it might be worth $75-$100.

You're welcome. It would depend on how much damage there is to the trunk, under close inspection. It might cost $300, or $1000, just depends on what needs to be repaired/replaced.

I don't have my lists here with me, but do a Google search for trunk restoration. Scroll down past the first two or three. I found one that wanted more to restore than I wanted to pay but referred me to a buyer.

Cruise the antique stores / sites to get a grip on what your market is. Hint- market isn't good moneys tight, and cost of shipping for restoration is outrageous. There aren't many good restorers left, they know it & charge accordingly so be prepared for that. I'll look for my notes & get back. Got any woodworking skills? The hardware is easy to find yours wouldn't be hard to spruce up. Winter project time is coming up!
