Cool!I believe it's a dome top antique trunk. They date from 1890. The round top is meant to shed water and dust when using them for travel. Here is a similar, restored trunk that sold for just under $1800

I don't have my lists here with me, but do a Google search for trunk restoration. Scroll down past the first two or three. I found one that wanted more to restore than I wanted to pay but referred me to a buyer.Thanks for the info. Any idea what the restore cost might be
