Can any one help with info on this saw and year made

PS: J. Flint saws made in Canada and the Warranted Extra saws made by the Canadian company Shurly Dietrich used an image similar to the British Royal Coat of Arms; perhaps yours is one of these.

Suggest you measure the length of the blade then insert that into an Ebay inquiry with the words "keyhole saw".

PS: Back in the day.....these medallions were called "label screws"; another area to search.

It looks like a key hole saw, used to cut holes in sheetrock.

My dad had a key hole saw that I used a lot as a kid 65 years ago. Hard use broke the handle and bent the blade, so the saw is long gone, and was replaced by power tools.
I should have said hard use and abuse, I was 12 at the time. I don't recollect getting in trouble over the damage, so Dad probably wasn't using the saw much, because he
wasn't opposed to warming my butt if he thought I needed it, which was often.
