Camp Logan & Other Memorial Park Junque to Date

Been snooping around Memorial Park here in Houston since March '06 and thought I'd post a picture of some of the WW1 junque and other more valuable stuff I've found to date. Best is an engraved (1913) 18K wedding band, old silver and a dog tag lost by soldiers. Attempts to locate relatives of the ring & dog tag have come to very dead ends.

I hope to get over there on Monday, with my brother, to see what my new White's M6 and my used White's IDX can collect.

I'm having ring remorse now after seeing that picture. A year or two ago, I found a 14k wedding ring engraved Feb 18, 1912, with initials to and from. I traded it, along with an 18k for coins that were missing from my kid's Mercury collection. Sometimes I wish I hadn't done that, and seeing your picture makes this one of those times.

That is a very cool collection of treasure(no junk). I see you still have that teal towel you stole from Bazooka.

That gold ring is an awesome find. I found one older silver engraved ring this year but it didn't have the date.

So, do you think there is much more there? What percentage of the area have you not searched?

Here's some more I picked up today- 2 dog tags, a National guard disc, vintage 1986 shooting glasses (Texas sesquicentennial), and other junque.
I only had an hour between the drizzle.
