Gettin past the time of year that Maria wants to get out in the high country, so she had 3 stipulations before she would go: it had better not rain, it had better not be cold at night, and there better be no bears. No problem for me. Well it did rain about an inch, but it was a slow rain lastin about 3 hours. Never even put the fire out. Plus I reminded her of when we camped here one fine June day and it snowed on us. Only got down to about 45 that night, so not cold to my way of thinkin. And no bears. So I hit 2 out of 3, which ain't bad. A plus for me was that I waited until we packed up the next mornin to point out this was the same campground a bear tried to chew off a tent camper's foot last year. Real pretty country in this area.

May only be a small hand full but there comes some days that are absolutely golden. And priceless. As all ways you can smell them aspen when the frost let's go.
Hope no one ever bottles it.
