Buck and ball is usually a single large ball .69 caliber and 3 to 6 double ought buck shot pellets .33 caliber.

Thats what i thought , making me wonder even more about this shot size.

The .370 to .375" are likely pistol balls ("Navy" caliber).

The .25" could be for "buck-n-ball" or just buck. #3 Buck is .25" (18 balls in a 12 bore load). aka "Swan Drops"

I kinda thought pistol , been trying to put the puzzle together , found lots of triple guilt, double gilt ,and spun back tombac style buttons and shoe buckle frame parts. hoping this site gos back farther than civil war but i probably will never know for sure.

36cal balls for small rifpe or pistol ,25 could be shot for buck and ball or small call rifle or pistol , or for shotgun loads
