Calling all gti 2500 users

I was wondering what is the max depth that you got a coin out of. If you could tell me the coil and how deep. Im trying to compare what i get with what others get. Also , if you can describe the soil

My deepest so far is a quarter at between 8 and nine inches. Soil was compacted dried out clay and it like to wore me out digging it out. I find a lot of clad between 2 and 4". I see a lot of signals all the way down to ten inches but the ground has been too hard to try to dig them. I did recover a dime at 10" at a beach but only once. Beach was loose dry sand. I was using the standard coil that came with it. I have a 10.5" coil but haven't used it. It is supposed to be the deep seeking coil ? My 2500 with a standard coil will "look" as deep as I want to dig and then some. JIM
