Hey everyone. Seeking help with this coin I found. From what I see, it looks like some sort of KG copper. But I'm not sure. It's completely toasted and the pictures attached are even better than what you can see with the naked eye. You can see the letter "A" which matches the old KG coppers. I didn't check exact measurements, but it's about an inch in diameter. So I'm thinking half penny?
Thanks so much for the help. I've never dug one before, and only one large cent. I hunt mostly in Tennessee and not used to finding coins this old. I mostly dig up late 1800's and 1900's coins. Anything older than an indian head or seated coin is always a huge surprise! HH everyone.
