Six jumped in the goodie bag today. The kicker is I found these all at a schoolyard that I have detected several times. Just goes to show ya! Keeping with the old adage, "A Sterling a day keeps the blues away," I did score a pretty child's sterling ring with green stone hearts, marked .925. I also found a small sterling bead.

The square gold-colored bling ring had me going for a moment, because it came out of the ground clean, but it turned out to be faux. I snagged a "bad mood" ring, a couple of plated rings, and a "Junior Fire Marshal" ring with some of the red enamel intact also.

From the "Kid's Jewelry Box Threw Up" department, there was a silver plated bangle bracelet, Hello Kitty pendant, silver plated bifold cage pendant, old key pendant, big chrome pendant, and broken key fob with gold colored turkey emblem Also found an old buckle, penny token, brass finial, GM key, and some kind of "alien" jewelry...LOL. Also scored about $8.00 in clad with a couple of wheat pennies in the mix.

Damn, your on fire!!

Heck of a hunt, and precious metals to calm your sleep tonight!

Killing it with the ring finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

That's some good looking stuff you found there! Great looking ring congrats and happy hunting

Love it when things just seem to cooperate, even a little.

Nice saves!

WTG Sub, this is why I love tot lots too. You find a lot of junk rings but some of them are pretty neat finds. Every once in a while a nice silver or better yet, a sweet golden halo will appear.

6 rings on land?? WOW, you sure it wasn't a swimming hole at one time? LOL nice going

It's getting to the point, Scuba, that I expect to find multiple rings at schools. But, the caveat is this, I have to dig many "iffy" and less-than-stellar signals to get them. Good Ol' Boys have been cherry-picking the local school yards for 50+ years, so I have to do alot of squats and miles to get my rings. I dug over 100 coins and about 1 1/2 pounds of scrap today, shows you the ratio! (Not bad for a 57 year old!) Thanks, Sub 8-)

:blob8: On a roll!

You should get some utility flags printed as jolly rogers.... to plant after ring recovery. :skullflag:

Excellent digs.

Looks like you are on a mean streak with those rings, Sub! Stellar day! Congrats!

Congrats on the awesome ring count for the hunt Sub. :occasion14: That 2 hearted ring is sweet

Your on a ring roll!
The silver heart ring looks like an August birthstone ring.

And all this from a place you've detected before....gives credence to my theroy that the worms are playing hide and seek with the underground goodies.
