Several good photo leads here, but check out photo #32 of "Wright's Station" -- an old resort town in the Santa Cruz mountains that is very much intact geographically minus the buildings shown in photo. I know it's been detected over the years and would be interested to hear about any interesting finds. It is currently owned by the San Jose Water District and very well posted no trespass. Bridge on left of photo is still there going over the creek. If you look middle of photo at base of the hill where railroad goes, you see a tunnel. That tunnel is still there, but the military blew it up around WWII due to concerns of Japanese potentially using it to sneak through from the coastline. The tunnel went several miles into Los Gatos.

I have hunted there with permission from one of the water guys (i work for a water company so he said ok) I found an old pocket watch a few indian pennys and a couple seateds, and I had a tick embedded in me after i was done....I havent had a chance to go back yet, but I will.. It was hit hard a while ago when a fire happened up there..
