Many thanks for the praises, we all like to hear them from time to time Good for the ego. The information I give out is usually freely available to those who know where to look (like Captain Kids Island), and as I said there are no X marks the spot in most cases.

It would be impossible for me to go a look at all there available wrecks one researches so what is the information for, I do not believe in just storing it in an archive, that puts us back into the die hard archaeologists mode, who would have everything locked up so only a few Ph d's could see.

So when I see something of interest then I give it out, remember though what I give is often only the Start of the search. The net is a great tool but the real documents (at this time )are in the main archives and libraries of the world, you have to go and get it.

Oh there are some things I keep to myself though.

Cornelius marches to a different drummer, I am bit like Captain Jack Sparrow, my compass does not point north.

Loving the analogy Cablava, and i agree with Chagy 100%, although i do very little research myself and have not received any information personally due to the fact I usually only read these forums as a source of amusement i have also noticed that Cablava along with Cornelius seem to always be willing to lend a helping hand when it is needed. I believe the world would be a much better place if there were more people like them.

Well I can honestly say; that this forum has help me very much, I have been able to learn from the best. And I have been able to meet the most amazing people like my friend, teacher and Godfather Mr.Don Mckay to whom I dont have enough words to say thank you.....

I have always said that the one who seeks shall find and hands that give shall receive.

Best,

Chagy...........

I am in complete agreement with everybody here i am almost sure my research would have ground to a halt almost as soon as it got started if it werent for people like cablava and the such so thank you.

Oh and if i ever start to lose hope i just read pretty much any post on ths forum and wham instantly reignited
so thank you again ;D

You get my vote and thanks, too, Cablava :)

This is exactly why I joined this forum to begin with...because of the knowledge that was shared by Cablava ,Cornelius and the many other fine folks who have supplied the mentorship I needed on my many quests. I do believe in sharing info, if its something that I am not going after myself. ;) I have tried to help when I can,but in my own journeys I would have been hopelessly lost had not it been for the kind emails from the people in this forum helping me find my way!
I long to keep history alive, and research the musty old libraries in search of it...so its good to know that there are people who hold the same desires that I do.Thank you for all you have done to help us Cablava...It is very much appreciated !
