went out today looking for some spots to hunt. i drove along old 66 along the river i saw some old cabins back on the ridge and seen that there was someone at the big house so i stopped in to ask if i could do some detecting at them there cabins . he told me that someone else had already did them but said knock your self out . well i got out and not more than a few feet from the truck i hit a penny a 1935 so i new that my detector was working i was starting to worry it wasn't working right well got my answer just hunted around the 3 cabins in the back i found 1956D, 1954D, 1957D, 1918,two 1919D wheats 1944D war nickel a token a button with a bird surrounded by what looks like the sun nothing on the back. and a older us military insignia it is stamped in the metal and is one piece and what i think to be a German coaster that i put on the whats is it forum had a great day going back this weekend to find that silver i hope still about 4 cabins left pluse the big rock house thanks for looking bjb
