This cold is killing me. I can dress warm enough, but that frozen ground is too tough for me. I get on here every day and torture myself looking at the finds. I want outside sooo bad. What do you Guys do in this cold? Thank God we usually only have til after the first week of March with this kind of cold.
I am old and don't have time to waste here :laughing7: Have a good one and Happy hunting.
So much to do and so many places to go!

I like to go to local estate auctions and me and my wife travel around to various thrift shops and antique shops. Its just something to keep busy until the frozen tundra thaws out.

As much as I want go swinging, I got too much to do. Tractors...

Cutting firewood for next year...

Opening up some cans...

Hysterical Higgy.
Is the middle pic from the film, " NH Chainsaw Massacre"? ;)

Thats me, out by the fire pit half-cocked. The camera was fast that night, and you almost cant tell by the pic, but that chain was whippin' at full-throttle.

In deference to OldJerseyGirl, we do get cabin fever up heah!

This would be the best time I think, which I do myself also, would be doing research, and studying about MDing, Panning, etc... Every winter I believe I up my skills from reading about other ones notes, adventures, and finds.

Sluice

Charlie P, all I could see was drink heavily. All else is a blur. ;)
Peace ✌

Hello Everyone,

Prepare for my college teaching assignments. Design and build robots. Remove all coil covers and clean every coil, rod and replace all coil hardware. Then pray for spring!

Regards,

Around here we are putting on tee shirts and keep moving. It feels like spring around these parts

For people that don't know, here's what it looks like inside the can.

When being stuck here in my little cabin in the forest all winter (I'm currently "snowed in"), I strap on my oiled boots and cross the wilderness westward to the old abandoned cabin that is about four miles away. There is file wood there and I fire up the stove, and spend the day. I just swap one tiny cabin for another, but it helps. :-)
