I just found a button that has a C.Rubens & Co. Chicago,Ill. marking on the back.The button is between 3/4 and 1in.wide,gold guilt,horizontal lined background field,it has a wreath of three petal flowers that is open at the top,and a fancy script "P"in the center.I found this button in the same vicinity as New Hampshire Vol.Miltia button,in Georgrtown,S.C.Sorry,my camera is down,so no pics available at this time.Anyone have a clue about this button?
