afoot and lighthearted, I took to the 1 acre land---
hopes soaring of Talismans and rings, yea the treasures of Sultans and Kings ( thanks to Annie Haslam of British group Renaissance)
the Prince's seal & the songs of Scheherazade----

it was not to be my destiny---- a scant 37 cents in CRAD, abundant iron & copious slag--------------UNTIL---

nestled on edge against a small moss covered rock at a depth of 1 inch (showed as bouncy 66-69 on ATPro)

DRAT--- could it be an "Uncle Sam Play Dime"??????:dontknow::dontknow:----

NO BUCKY----

IT'S TRIME TIME

For a second, you had me going in another direction.
Seeing "C-III ME" made me flash on the possibility of a Charles III ME mintmark (Mexico City) coin.
OK, back to your trime: Great Save!
Don...........

Very nice, and congrats on your perseverance! Never found a 3 cent piece myself and you should rightly be very proud of yours! Congrats to you!! :occasion14:

I have only experienced trime time one time ???

That is such an awesome coin design. Definitely high on my bucket list. Congrats!!!

Awesome coin. I cant ever remember even seeing one of those before, but Im not much of a coin expert or anything. Nice work!

Ace, a BIG congrats on a BEAUTY of a trime! Your first!? That one is HIGH on my bucket list, and she sure is nice...WTG on a rarity in our hobby...2 thumbs up...Ddf

Very nice tiny silver mate. I was fortunate enough to score one many years ago on a curb tear out. You've got a "hoard" with three now. Most folks will never get that tiny silver target. Well done.:icon_salut:

Super Find! :headbang:

Great recovery! Still looking for my first of either type of 3-center. Continued good luck to you!

LORDY, 27 Likes--- even I like that :laughing7:

the Trime is a tough coin to grade, it has some luster but the wear is the trick to get from VF to XF:dontknow:

today was a ride on "the carpet of the sun"---- OR---CRAD time---- $8.45--- so much I had to just cherry pick the Cuters-- every swing was another coin, less than 200 sq. ft. covered with another 25 acres to go---- just gots ta get all the clad cleared away to be gitten the old silver, jewelry & relics to take their place at center stage at my Trip to the Fair, ( again thanks to Annie & Renaissance) when nobody is there.

and no--- this NOT a Fairground--- just a place of Fair Maidens & nymphets of Woodstock :icon_biggrin: :love4: :love7: :tongue3:

That's a great find. I have been detecting 40 plus years, and have not found one yet. Congrats.

:sad11: :sad11:--- KEEP YER CHIN UP & COIL DOWN---
my 3 Trimes all elicited the same reaction when I saw them >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

H*** F***'* S***------- IT'S A TRIME
