Buying silver

"No one pays spot except collectors" collectors pay over spot, and people will pay over spot for silver. Sell on ebay, and get good money.

Nobody was talking about numismatics that I can see.

There are massive amounts of people that pay over spot for
junk silver, just to get it. Ive seen people paying over spot
on Ebay for 40% coinage. If you include price and shipping/ins.,
many are paying above spot, and happy about it. LOL.

At the very least, there are uncountable amounts of persons willing to
buy anything you got, right now, "at" spot. Those that do use coin
dealers are interested in a quick exchange for a fast profit and cash in hand.
Nothing wrong with that either.

I see nothing wrong with Keith making his offer. If somebody wants to
unload at that price, he is willing to buy at that price. Not sure he will get takers
but if he did, he would make a good deal for himself :)

Good luck though, would be a tough deal to make in this particular forum I think.

Actually I am buying over $300 from someone on this forum. Also, it's a great place because CRH'ers get these coins at face value and make 5 to 10 times profit.

There ya go, sweet deal ;) Never hurts to ask ! ( Make sure it
isnt ole' Patrick Earl.... he will gank yo bills and hit da road ! )

Heck, if he wants to go there, I'll give $4.00.

Dude, don't low ball here. This is the WAY wrong place.

Good luck though. Hope you get what you need, without robbing some poor old lady who really needs the money.

Stan

Why is this the wrong place? I can't think of anyone who would make a greater profit on their investment based on the fact that CRH'ers pay FACE value of coins. Koodos to you for offering more, it doesn't bother me. The naysayers of this forum don't understand free enterprise.

I understand what numismatics is; I was talking about collectors of silver. Back some time ago, before I started CRH, I purchased around 100 oz of silver off of Ebay, some less then spot, some more then spot. Not that it's that big of a deal because it's at 14 now. The more silver goes up, the more people are going to buy it. There is really no need to sell at a 50% discount on something that has a large demand. This person is hoping that the people from this forum are undereducated with what they have. If someone is going to spend there time driving around to banks, sorting through 1000s of coins for silver, they are not the type of person to sell for less then spot. If anyone is thinking of doing that feel free to PM me and ill walk you all the way through getting more for what you have spent your time to get. A coin store will pay you more, and there is no shipping, but you can do better then that. Sorry about my spelling/grammar, it's never be my forte`. I am a math and science guy. By the way, nice 100 oz ingots. Are those the ones that where stamped out and not cast?

This person's name is Davy Keith. I am not hoping to purchase from undereducated individuals nor to take money from old ladies. If someone wants to sell their coins at three to seven times what they paid for it is still a profit to them. The most recent individual I purchased from knows well what spot is because I told them. They also know that they could probably get more from Ebay however he is ok with it. Please don't assume the worst from someone just because you don't know them. If you want to educate people how to get more from their coins that's fine with me. I simply made an offer and there is no law against free enterprise. That is what our country is all about.

That's some nice silver!!

and btw, You make a good point, Patrick. www.Coinflation.com is a great site, but there's no way anyone could ever see profits based on their numbers. maybe in the future---maybe. It's interesting and fun, but purely hypothetical.

I think the offer is pretty fair for the 40%. As of right now it is only .14 per coin in back of APMEX buy price and he is picking up the shipping and insurance.

If you think you will get spot for 40% in this market I think you need to visit a couple of bullion dealers. I think the best I can do now locally for $1K bags of 40% is 1.5 behind spot so if PanMan is serious about 4x face please send me a PM. I'll expect him to pickup shipping and insurance too.

Davy,

No problem, if you can get it for cheaper than spot, especially from members of this forum, more power to you.
I'd rather get it for face doing CRH, as most of this is for the thrill of the hunt, but it's also an investment. I do buy other silver, and heck I always love to get it as far below spot as I can get it. A pawn shop in town by me sells 40% for $1.50 each, and I buy them there. He sells Walkers, Franklins and '64 Kennedys for $5.00 each, and I only get the super-nice Walkers or Franklins from him for that price, which has been a total of 2 so far. The others are worn so bad that they are usually dateless.
