As a new member, I have only seen some bits and pieces of the rules in general. I noticed that you have to be a charter member to sell, so I have a few questions.

What is a charter member/how do I become one?

Can I buy stuff that charter members are selling?

Can I trade with charter members?

I decided to ask these questions first, before I did anything stupid. I kinda need a cheap pin-pointer soon, so I thought I'd ask now before I really need it.

Yes you can buy from a charter member. But you do have to become a charter member to sell. I think it cost $20.00. It should have a place on the home page about becoming a charter member. If you need more help just ask. Oh yeah in the dealers section of metal detectors brands just post you are looking for a good cheap pin pointer. I am sure everyone will say harbor freight but I would get one a little better than that.

Along with selling, etc. - here is what you get when you become a Charter Member...

Okay, Thank you very much! So is it okay if I put out a wanted ad?

Yes, charter members do put up "wanted" posters! I've been a charter member quite a while now, but haven't sold anything.

Welcome to TreasureNet.

Have to be charter member to sell, anyone can buy.

On trades always has to be a CM involved. If non CM offers a trade, only CM can reply with offer to trade. If CM ofers trade anyone can reply with trade.

Anyone can place a wanted ad, if non CM then only CM can reply with offer, if CM posts wanted ad then anyone can reply with offer. It always favors a CM.

I am still getting the hang of this site, so please forgive me if I am a little slow. Where can I post a wanted ad? I am wanting a cheap, use pin-pointer, and I am looking to add some bullets to my collection as well.
