Buying my first metal dectecter

Just remember u get what u pay for

Well I'm actually looking for something for my family to get me something affordable apparently I'm hard to shop for

Main thing is what is your limit on one

Im no pro at this by any means but im using an ace250 for about a year now and getting ready to upgrade. That machine was 250 new, its s beat machine but I'm just wanting more after hunting with guys who run minelabs.

My advice would be is ask for cash and save for a higher end one. I'm wishing that's what I woulda done now.

My advise check Craigslist for some good used deal, you might be surprised how often you find second hand detectors cheap and in new condition just because the previous owner didn't like the hobby.

That's exactly what I did with my f4. Receipt and everything including diggers, high end headphones and a cheap 17 dollar pinpointer from harbor freight all for $290 bought new in october

Coin collector I made the same decision after reading forums for a very long time. I decided to get a used MXT for coin and relic hunting, but also for some copper hunting in Michigan and silver hunting in Ontario. Almost new looking MXT with standard coil for $425 plus shipping. Regards, Bill.
