When he was 13, I bought my son a nice portable Underwood(in the case) because he liked the idea behind typing and hearing that click. I wanted it for myself but figure when I'm dead and gone, he'll still have it.

I have two of 'em. Bought them to flip but like them too much so I ended up keeping them. An Underwood No. 5, and a Royal Deluxe portable in case.

Ha! Thats funny. In your article it mentions John Lewis, the typewriter repair shop owner. Same guy I happened to get a replacement space bar from for my Underwood No. 5.
