Welcome. The British buttons, 1812 period?

Nice button collection! I found one tonight about 7" deep. But I'm too tired to clean it up, I'll post it later. If I find another hundred or so my collection will be like yours.

Holy buttons lol very nice!!!

I think I know where you are now, and would bet you could throw one of those 89th buttons in the Detroit river. :laughing7:

Great to see they have the best button guy out there on this site, you guys out east know your stuff!!

Is this Chris posting? Or someone who knew Rick D? I don't think too many guys down your way would have as many buttons as you, so I feel like I've probably seen them before.

One in the same, added quite a few since Ricks passing - kind of a shame he would have been in his glory at a couple of new spots.

ok, I thought it was you, and good to see you're still at it.

Hard to believe it's pushing 9 years since he left, and there's no question if you're digging early military finds he would have been in his element... and digging coins for ebay or the land owners. :laughing7:

You should definitely write Troiani about your unknown pewter.

I knew Rick as well, he had a great button collection.
