Those are great seal buttons from WWI/WWII.

are you sure not fron civil war era?

I am positive they are not civil war period buttons. The great seal symbol wasn't used by the Military until the early 1900's. The bone buttons could be older but they were still in use during that time.

thanks for the info, i just wasent going to let these buttons go to waist so i kept them
