Nice Fleur De Lis Boy Scout pin on the first one. The next is a Great Seal Button 1902 to present. Excellent finds! Keep up the hunting! :icon_thumright:

cool finds-HH!

Congrats on your finds HH

Great looking buttons. Congrats. :hello2:
They must have been into owls in the old days. I found an owl pin last year in the woods by a well. Also an "O.O.O." (Order Of Owls) early 1900's pin some years ago.
Nice finds,
MM

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. Metal detecting's more fun when I can show off! Just gotta say, modern miner, you're a umax god! I always like seeing your finds. Gives me hope in finding the old whatevers. :notworthy:

The Boy Scout Pin is the "Tenderfoot" rank badge. I believe they stopped inscribing them with the motto Be Prepared in the 50's.

Great Find.

Doc

Cool thanks doc_ I was hoping it was old. That scout showed up unprepared_he forgot his pin!

Thanks Tector. I really think the Silver Umax is a great machine. Nothing fancy but it finds the goods. Good locations, gridding, and going slow help too.
Looking forward to you next post. Good luck.
