Found these buttons this week. I have identified one of the buttons to be 1850's to 1860's military infantry (SCOVILLS & Co WITH DOT UNDER "o", EXTRA).
Went out yesterday evening and did find another infantry button, but it was smashed and I don't have a picture.

The other buttons are probably unrelated, but interesting none the less. Most of the buttons I find are plain ones.

These were found in a trashy dump area using the Makro Gold Racer and the 5" coil. I'm sure eventually the spot will produce a coin.

Anybody recognize any of the patterns?

Hi; The First 2 buttons are common Victorian Women's coat buttons. The 3rd is a 2 Piece Civil War Infantry Mans Button in XF ( Extra Fine) Condition with Full Shank. Value: $10 - $15. Nice Find. PEACE:RONB
