The convex button has Rich Gold Color on the backside and nothing on the front, I also found a flat button that has decorative arrows 3/4 the way around finished with the letters GILT as the back mark. Again nothing on the front. Also I found what seems to be a hand forged chain. Please if anyone has input on these buttons that would be appreciated. So far the convex button back mark matches another post titled "Cherokee rose buttons" but mine doesn't have the rose. Also had the Ace 250 go off like a nuke bomb, I dug an inground pool before I realized it was wigging out and doing that everywhere. I popped the battery's out and it seemed to do the trick, but damn I wasted a lot if time!

Awesome old mid 1800's buttons! That site has some age to it...keep pounding it! There are many more treasures waiting to find their way under your coil.
