I found a few more cool relics today, including my second 1870's NSW general service militia button, two pinfire bullets, and a 1949 Australian Threepence.

Thanks Eagleye :)

I'm not sure what it is.
It is solid lead. Here is a pic of the reverse side.

Nice finds! Congrats!

Great finds! I love the pinfire bullet and the button.

Thank you everyone for the comments :)

Can those old pinfires still be dangerous?

I've heard that they can be. You would probably either have to strike them or throw them down hard. I am not too sure. Those are a really cool thing to find.

Thanks Pointman,
I better not drop this one when the wife asks me if it's dangerous :laughing7:

Great finds mate! Geez they could be Neds bullets!

Thanks mate :)
Funny you mention that, Im not too far from Kelly country, but I am right in the heart of "Mad" Dan Morgan's country.

Now, If only I could find the gun to go with them :)

They are out there somewhere :)

History in the making right here.. Get back out there! Lol. I can feel a banner find coming up

nice finds. Digging those pinfire casings intact is extremely rare. Usually the 'tube' sticking out to ignite the charge is broken off. Congrats.

Nice saves man. Found a few pinfires here in Virginia. Always good to know that technological advancements in killing one another has no borders!

Could I see a picture of the bottom of the pinfire cartridges?

Sure :)

I can't make out any marks on them, except maybe an "I" ?

Here's a photo of my bullets, I don't know much about them so any information would be greatly appreciated.

Very Cool Finds ..
I would love to find a Complete Pinfire Round, or bullet for that matter.

Is the broken round on the right (in the last picture a Spencer Round?.

Also is the coin in the first pic, Silver?

Either way neat finds from where the water goes to opposite way down the Toilet. lol
