I must assume that mass graves were the order of the day which is why there is no way to determine the name of the soldier... In fact, the bones may represent more that one person. Surprisingly, that human bones are still identifyable after almost 150 years. Sadly, the local War Veteran organizations will provide the needed honors if the U.S. Government come forth.
