Found this button at an old cellar hole in NJ. Have no idea how old it is, where made, etc. No makers mark or patent date. Any info would be appreciated.

Typically these types of buttons are called Victorian picture buttons. Though the scene is from an earlier time:

I found it in the "The Complete Button Book" (Albert/Kent):

Since what bramble posted being "Victorian" it would date somewhere from 1837-1901 which was when the Victorian Era was.. I'd say it is probably 1850s-1870s time period though... Neat button find..
