Button?

Is this a button or what? The inlay looks like mother of Pearl but it has turned milky white since it came out of the ground. That's a canadian penny for size and a small fragment of a clay pipe.

I think its a collar button. I believe someone recently found a match. Ad from 1909 Sears Roebuck.
