Button - SOLVED

I was wondering if someone could help me identify this button... it has a flag and inside the flag it has initials LV ... it has a star above and below the flag....and on the back it says superior quality..Ive had a heck of a time taking a picture of this button.....oh and the color is silverish.. it has something on it and I'm afraid to clean it.. because I dont know what to clean it with... would appreciate some help if yall can.. Thanks

Well done as always, DCMatt!

According to Van Court's book on railroad buttons, this Lehigh Valley Railroad variety dates c. 1928.

An earlier version had "Lehigh" and "Valley" above and beneath the flag, respectively, and a star on the left and right.

I didnt mean to make that funny face at the end of the last question i ask... I didnt know it was gonna do that.. and also.. how do you make the check mark so that it shows answered.... Help......................

Haven't seen one listed recently, but a while back buttons dealer Bob Edmondson was offering a button like yours for $7.

Go back to your first post and click "Modify."

Add the word "SOLVED" to the title.

Next, click the Message Icon "STANDARD" button and select "SOLVED" at the bottom of the menu.

Now click the "SAVE" button at the bottom of the page.

That's it!
