I found this button while searching alongside the Battle Road--the path of battle as the lobsterbacks were harassed by militiamen from Concord and Lexington back toward Charlestown on April 19, 1775. I'm hoping this button is from one of the troops but actually have no idea how old it is or anything. I'll try to get a better pic later. Can anyone ID it? (or point me toward a good web location to research it)
That's an 8-pointed star of sorts in the center of the diamond and the outside of it is some sort of flower, I think.
