I found this at the same place as the 3 cent piece. Thought it was a button. But just tried to clean it today and was surprised. It looks like it might be silver? The front came up pretty good, but the back is harder. I can see on the front Paramount CityProcessed Poultry. On the back it says patented May with something else I cannot read. Any ideas? I am posting front now and trying to get better photo of back. pin 002.JPG

Well, I thought this would be a simple cap from a tube (like a toothpaste tube) but the patent date on the back throws me off and plus what chicken product comes out of tube?

:icon_scratch:

Sorry, I tried! Lol.

Cheers,

Dave.

I'd guess an advertising lapel pin, originally with a stick pin... Not that I can find one like it online.
I note it says "city dressed", rather than city processed, though it means the same in this case

O.K. I can see now the back says patented May 1928. Not much help. Probably aluminum. Who knows?

I just found the exact same piece, I agree that it looks like silver, but it lacks the weight
