Ok first if you live near me don't read this post. All others are welcome. Just kidding.
I started up a new detector dealership so of course I had to buy a bunch of detectors I tried to pick the ones I though were the best. Well of course I had to try them all out no way could I sell something that was junk to someone. So today I took the Fisher F75 out for it's maiden voyage. I went to a site that I and many others have been to many times. Last time there I didn't find anything but a bunch of nails. Oh well worth a shot anyway. Spent about 3 hours hunting a little area took my boys with me for a father and sons day. Well they were using one of my cheaper detectors and not finding much, they got fed up with me pretty quick with the another button, another button. One of the buttons is Ordnance Department OC3B a nice find for me. So if you wanted to know if the F75 is good on buttons heres your answer!

Love those "A"s & Ordnance! Are the two cuff "A"s one piece?
What's the backmark on the Ordnance?
Thanx! Dale

Great finds I would love to find just one of those. Im glad you had good luck with the F75 my two friends that had them said it was the worst detectors they ever owned and went back with there old ones. HH!

Well I can tell you the F75 is by no means a bad detector, my guess is they would not lower the sensitivity to a stable level for their area. The detector starts out with a high level of sensitivity that makes it unstable in most conditions, my guess is they want it to be hot right out of the box. Most people think that they have to leave the setting real high to get depth. This is not true with the F75, I have tested the unit on a 10" Quarter and lowered the sensitivity down to 30 and it still picks up with no issues. I run mine as high as the conditions allow with as little false signals as possible. What would you rather have a detector that you can't raise the sensitivity as high as you want or one that it's max is still stable everywhere? I would think that people that live in an area with few ground minerals or electrical interference would not agree to have it fixed lower. You also have to ground balance this detector correctly. I demo the unit and watch as so called pros take off with out going through any of the things I just explained to them and have bad results. I take the same detector properly ground balance the unit "which is really easy" set the sensitivity to a stable level and they can't believe it's the same detector. I am working on a comparison with 7 other top of the line detectors, it will take a little while to finish but it will be worth the read. I use a lot of detectors and I like a lot of them, the F75 is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

The detector must be pretty good to find all of that after everyone else has been there.Very nice buttons!!!!

Very nice job on the buttons! I am always a big fan of the Artillery ones. I hope you enjoy the F-75 as much as I do. For my needs it has out performed anything else I have used.
