Jon, it's a Carhartt's brand work clothes buttons.

The top reads CARHARTT'S; the bottom, O'ALLS & GLOVES? O'alls, of course, being an abbreviation for overalls.

The center design is a rebus (picture-word) for the company name: CAR [streetcar] + HEART = CARHARTT.

I believe these were used around 1905-25. Carhartt is still in business.

Compare yours to the one on the far left of the third row of buttons at:

that was fast pbk. thank you. this is on the site you sent, the same button. it was kind of small. i have a small eastman loop and cant see to much with it. is prop, a bit old too thank you again :)
