Christie was out hunting native this afternoon and came across this awesome surface find. I can find this button listed but its not made by Scoville. Its about the size of a trime and I suspect its an early patriotic cockade button. Any help in Iding it would be greatly appreciated

Looks like an officers uniform button from the war of 1812.
Similar to designs I see on the web, but don't see a match.
Very nice find!
