Hello Folks,

Thanks for everyone's input. I thought I'd take a couple more pics (close up, and back view). I don't think it was ever a coin because it is not a solid disc like a coin (see back view). The details on the front make me wonder if it's Asian (symbols / letters). Can anyone identify this? Thanks again!

Its a modern button in the style of a Chinese Cash coin.
