Best guess, early to mid 19th century. It's a nice one.

Thank you, I found Indian head cents there too, 1879 on one of them. It is one of those sites where you can go back over it, listen closely and find deeper signals. ( I am removing the modern trash signals each time...)

laughing...though my minelab excalibur II uses tones only...I get what you are saying. Each time I am listening to the screaming signal of a beer can or tent peg, I say outloud," finally, big gold" it keeps me digging with a smile.
