Button ID needed!!!

I posted this button a while ago but never got a definite ID. Can anybody tell me about it and age? I believe it's a British artillery button. But why 3 cannons any help would be great!

Yes British Royal Artillery and there was 3 cannons on them since about 1785. I'd say it dates 1820s/30s maybe.

Wow I bought it Ina group of random items from WW1 period for $5. I had 7 things in total. One thing I bought is 4 times its price. Thanks for the help, I can't believe it!
