Hello,
I was able to start getting out again recently, and I found this button near an old outhouse location ,Lol, always one of the best spots of course. The back is long since gone, but the front appears to be brass that was crimped to a metal back that rusted away. This is my first larger size 2 piece button with a good design, so I'm really interested in finding out a bit more about what it actually is. Many thanks ahead of time to anybody with some information.
Some details on the button if the pictures aren't good enough detail wise are: there appears to be two gryphon's around a shield with a crown over top of the shield. Also there seems to be scrollwork below, but I can't tell if there could be words on it on not.
