Button I.D. ???

I found this button at a torn down house spot, I've never seen one like this before and I'm hoping one of you button experts might know what it is. I kinda think it might be a railroad uniform button but really don't know. Thanks everyone.

I am by no means an expert but I'm thinking the the first two letters might be PO for Post Office.

You're right Giant, it was for the Pittsburg, Cincinnati & St Louis Railway, which started in 1868 but then merged further to become the PCC&StL in 1883, so your button would date earlier than that.
