I found these two buttons about a foot apart from each other and about 12' from an IHP so I know the site had some age, although these may not. The first one is a two-piece button with no back/shank and has an anchor inside an oval, it is 18.5mm in diameter.

The second one says "Real Camel" in cursive and is 17.5mm in diameter. This one apparently had some iron/steel content as I can see rust in the area that broke off. Internet search seems to indicate this may be a clothing button indicating it was made with real camel hair but I'd love more info if any one has more specifics.

Thanks!
Kurt

P.S. I don't know why my pics get spun when I upload, I'll have to figure that out. Sorry most of these came out sideways!

I think your first button is a civilian fashion one. Here's a link to one very similar on the Waterbury website. No idea on the "Real Camel" one. Also I think your pictures get rotated because of their large size. I resized one.
