Found a small cache of buttons today...Can anyone tell me anything about them? Also what the other item is...

Not too sure about the buttons, but the other item looks like some of the antique bookmarks I've seen. You clip it on the page your on and the two holes would have string or ribbon that ran the length of the page to mark your place.
