Hi All, My son an I were called to find a tractor part that fell off and the owner
could not find it, so he responded to an add that I had put out, and yes we did find the part :headbang: and that was cooooool....but while digging my son found this button, I know
that it says Waterbury Button Co. Conn. has an eagle with an anchor on it an stars
it comes up as USMC......I was hoping someone could date it for me? I'm not sure how.

I can't help on the button , But cool on finding the Tractor part :thumbsup:

It's a Marine Corps button, probably about 100 years old, maybe slightly newer.

Thanks Thommy, So WW1 started around 1914 & WW2 started 1939, if it's around 100 yrs. old
I'm thinking it is probably WW2 era :dontknow: cool none the less.....just wish I had found it :laughing7:
