The first one I think is a bit older than the second but I think the are both post 1900. the shank on the first one is called a self shank and I don't think they had those until about 1900. The 2nd button has that mid 1900's look to it. I don't know how to explain it but after you've seen enough of them you kind of know.

The second button is probably civilian blazer with the lion rampant on the shield, crossed sabres and crown. If I get enough time Ill find a match for you.
