Is anyone here that might know the age of this button? Maybe what the coat or what ever it came from might have looked like? Thanks for ay info. HH

When posting in "What Is It?", please give members the information they need to help identify your find:

1. Post sharp closeup photos of both the front and the back.

2. State the actual size of the item. Also, if possible, put something with it in the photo for scale: a common U.S. coin, a ruler, etc.

Sorry about not adding enuf info. I have been on these forms for a long time and should know better. I added a new pic. with some more info at the bottom of the pic. Thanks for any help... Also the image is imbossed/ingraved. Im not for sure what its made out of. I think it's plastic.

kinda looks like mother of pearl, thatd also fit better as i never really found any plastic in a turn of the century dump. found this pic of some new mother of pearl on a necklace.
