Hey everyone! Today i went out to an awesome place that was riddled with buttons. The place was an old mill site on a river and the whole river bank had buttons, both on the surface and in the ground. With the help of a sifter I found a lot, about 50, but most of them are too crusty to know what they are but i did manage to find a few cool ones. Thanks for looking, Sarah.

probably a paper mill nearby - they would use old rags to make paper.....the sludge at the bottom would have all the buttons etc in it......
