Button found on today's hunt at 1800's house with Indian Steve - Need button I.D.

This was apparently a two piece button, with the back missing.

Anyone have an idea what this button is?

My guess would be civilian fashion button. The rusted out back makes me think that.

At first glance, I was thinking 'Merchant Navy'. but the construction isn't heavy enough for that.
As fyrffytr1 has already suggested, likely an early 20thc anchor 'fashion' button.

Here's a US-made, mid-19thc Merchant Navy Button for reference I found in 2017.
